It has been disturbing me since quite some time that chintaamaNi (1934)
can't be rElangi's debut film. In July I just got hold of Bapu-Ramana's
_baapu ramaNeeyam_ book and in that the above film was quoted as his first.
It disturbed me a little but thought that they can't be wrong. After long
search and verifying many sources I have come to the conclusion that he made
his debut a year later in C. pullayya's "SreekRshNa tulaabhaaram" (1935).

While writing this message I also noticed that theres another mistake in my
earlier message. chintaamaNi's director was; kaaLLakoori sadaaSivaraavu (S/o
naaraayaNaraavu, the author of the play. Better known for his play:
"varavikrayam").
