Whiel I don't like this group to be diverted about whther ANR did a wise thing or not
I think it warrants some correction to what Vijay said.
It was well known fact in industry that ANR and Ghantasala enjoyed
a special; relationship. Whiel with NTR it was only professional
and didin't extrend much to personal life (NTR never had any close
personal friendship with any in cinefield anyway)

t was true at that time in 1974 ANR has some heart problems and from then on
he used to repeat adnauseam why he didn't attend for the last rites
of Ghantasala, that his doctors advised him from going and I don't think it is a cheap excuse. In Mid 80s when Ghantasala son (I forgot his name, he is also a singer) tried to enter cinefield it was ANr who helped him a bit. Whenever
the topic of Ghantasala arises ANR fondly remmebers his special
friendship with G' and clain they two were so molded together that it appears as though
ANR sang those songs or Ghantasala danced for those songs.

Subba.

P.S I am an equal fan of ANR/NTR/SVR. so no bias is involved :-)
