namastE! I have a theory to myself (It is more of a feeling than any fact based conclusion) that CNR brought in colloquialisms and some amount of filler words and techniques (his penchant for antyaanupraasa is well known) which i believe opened the door to baser words. And VSRM further yielded to the producer/directors need(ling) for titillating songs. And the later song writers (with the notable exception of Sirivennela - who along with tanikeLLa is a trend setter in introducing a refreshing amount of day-to-day language in film dialogues and songs without getting vulgar) continued the worsening trend. Anyway I started out this post wanting to just add the song "irusu lEni banDi eeSwaruni banDi.." to the list of those songs you had listed. I dont know what decade this song belongs to but when I heard this in a NTR songs collection I was surprised at the double entendre. Or is it just me ;-) !
