Re: G and drunk songs, cont'd

I think I would have to agree with the second option on why G was so 
talented at singing drunk songs.  I have heard a few of those songs which 
I believe, some of which were sung near the end of his life.  A time in 
which it is no secret that the singer was engaging in some serious 
alcoholism.  Maybe he was a under the influence to an extent while 
singing the songs.  Given the fact that the singer had such a skill with 
emotions while singing, directors may have composed drunk songs to fit 
both the scene and the current temperment of the actor.  This is all pure 
speculation here that I have always thought that I finally was able to 
express with the appropriate topic.  I am sure some of our other members 
can address the issue with more knowledge and relevance than myself.
