There is one other song I can recall:
Adagaka ichchina manase muddu.
In this song from a cassette, goes with total 33 *muddu* words in it.
In the movie, at the end of the song,
both male and female go with an alapana *aha ha haa ...*
( in the cassette they conclude with the *lyric* - adgaka ichchina..)
there by reducing the # of *muddu*s in the movie :-) ( did censor cut
them down :-) ?? ).
Though it won't exactly fit into the category of lyric changes from
records to movie,
it used to be a famous telugu movie quiz Q,
*How many time the word MUDDU repeats in the Song Adagaka ichchina ??*
The answer differs from a cassette song to the movie, there by creating
a controversy

Have fun
Bhaskar..
