Re: G on adapting tunes from others

Indeed, I very vividly remember once in an AIR interview, G's associate J.
V. Raghavulu told that 'G' was dead against copying the tunes or adopting
from other hit tunes.  However, when the producers pressed him to do so and
once he decides to oblige them invariably, G used to tell JVR

   'bAbU!  vALLaki  adEdO  kAvAliTa.   kAsta  cUsipeTTu'

and he used leave that whole process for JVR to handle. Mentioning this,
JVR said that if at all there are any blemishes or imperfections for such
songs in the films for which G was the MD; the criticism should go to JVR
himself, but not to G.

It is remarkable on the part of G, as he himself never tried to shy/shrugg
off the disgrace/displeasure of copying tunes;  saying this.
