Yes. ghanTasAla was sick around that time frame. One can see the first
difference in his voice in songs sung by him from around that time frame.
However, I would like to add ghanTasAla did sing for SObhan bAbu (nArada)
and for mikkilinEni (dharmarAja) in the movie. To the best of my memory
there is only one poem for dharmarAja in the movie, "Alunu biDDalEDva
nRpulAlamulO kaDatEra ellachuTTAlunu rUpu" and this is sung by ghanTasAla.
The film is released in 1967.
