     Friends:

Don't get excited! Don't reach for your sheathed sabres
stashed scimitars to send them for sharpening!

After all, this is not a feminist poem by the foremost
feminist poet, jayaprabha. She used one of the 'symbolic'
heroes of Sree viSwanaatha satyanaaraayaNa; may be in an
     otherwise symbolic way! That's all!

                 veeravallaDE vaaDu!

                                     - jayaprabha

This poem is from jayaprabha's collection, entitled
'yaSOdharaa ee vagapemdukE!' (1993). Some time ago,
Sree Chowdary Jampala has introduced this collection
of poems by jayaprabha to telusa-ers and scit-ers.
