namastE !

Sorry to keep harping about Srikanth's Film server all the time,
but I cannot help it.

For the purpose of ordering the G song database, a numbering scheme
similar to his may be used. He uses the year of release to order his
films database. Each film is identified by a number that is made up of
the year of release and an ordinal number.

We can use a number like : yynnnnss

	yy is year of release
2 digits should be enough since we are dealing only with
Ghantasala songs i.e yy between 45 and 75.(I guess !)
nnnn is the ordinal number of the film
( may be in chronological order, or as available in the
		  database. )
4 digits to allow for > 1000 films released per year
or if it is known that the number never crossed 999
for allowing insertions (at least 9 of them) at a later
	     time.
ss is the song number in the film.

What do y'all think about this ?!

Whatever scheme we finally use, it is wonderful to have one !

Regards,

Ramakrishna Sanka
